Orthodontic dentistry is the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of integrity disorders, as well as the functions of the dentofacial system, malocclusion and individual teeth.

Modern methods of treating occlusion pathologies
Treatment of various bite pathologies can be carried out by the patient at any age. This is done by an orthodontist.
Today, there are many methods and ways to solve these problems:
- Removable devices are plates that mainly stimulate the growth and development of the maxillofacial system.
- Bracket systems that are metallic and aesthetic (less noticeable).
- Self-ligature, they work with reduced friction, more smoothly and imperceptibly.
- Eliners – transparent cap systems. They are made individually for each patient separately, as a treatment option for simple medical cases.
Often patients ask:
- Is it painful to install and “wear” braces? “No, that doesn’t hurt at all.”
- Do braces cause the teeth to deteriorate? – No, with good hygiene, the teeth remain completely healthy.
- If only a few teeth are crooked on the upper jaw, can braces be placed on one jaw? – Such treatment will not be effective, since the correct bite consists in the correct ratio of the upper and lower jaws, and this is possible only with two jaw treatment.
